We started with three bee hives in 2006 with our good friend, Ron Ward, teaching Ty about bees. A few years passed, a loss of a good friend, a transition from the Army and we found ourselves revitalizing an old rural high school, built in 1920, in Easton, Kansas. About the time we were thinking about the type of business we wanted to open in the building, Beth Ward contacted us about continuing on the legacy of their honey business and we found ourselves venturing into the life of beekeepers!
We went from 3 to 40 hives overnight and have started the transformation of the old High School into an educational Apiary and beekeeping experience for all to enjoy.
We offer limited numbers of educational tours in the Spring and Summer.
Although we are not quite finished with the landscaping and currently expanding and refining the honey and beeswax product line, we appreciate suggestions from our awesome and ever-increasing patrons. We hope you will join us in watching us grow and become an asset to the community and to your family.
